Aligned with our Sustainability Policy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),

Responsible Farming (SDG 2, 12, 13)

Policy Goal: Promote sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.

  • Always follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides according to approved guidelines and only when necessary.
  • Avoid all use of banned or unapproved agrochemicals.
  • Maintain soil health through rotation, composting, and cover cropping where applicable.

Environmental Protection (SDG 6, 13, 15)

Policy Goal: Protect and preserve local ecosystems and water resources.

  • Use water responsibly; drip or micro-irrigation systems must be maintained and monitored.
  • Avoid discharge of untreated water or waste into natural water bodies.
  • Report any environmental incident or pollution immediately to supervisors.
  • Do not hunt, trap, or destroy wildlife on or near farm premises.

Decent Work & Inclusion (SDG 5, 8, 10)

Policy Goal: Provide a safe, fair, and inclusive workplace.

  • Treat all colleagues with dignity and respect regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background.
  • Never engage in or tolerate child labor, forced labor, or harassment.
  • Use protective equipment as required and report unsafe conditions without delay.
  • Support equal pay for equal work and opportunities for female staff and minority groups.

Community Engagement (SDG 1, 11, 17)

Policy Goal: Improve rural livelihoods and contribute to local development.

  • Participate in community programs when asked, including education and health campaigns.
  • Prioritize hiring from surrounding villages and engage respectfully with local leaders.
  • Avoid any activity that harms or exploits local communities or their land.

Education & Knowledge Sharing (SDG 4, 9)

Policy Goal: Promote agricultural learning and innovation.

  • Cooperate with academic and research institutions when trials or training are offered.
  • Share technical knowledge with junior staff and interns where appropriate.
  • Engage in continuous learning through farm-led or external workshops.

Transparency & Traceability (SDG 12, 16)

Policy Goal: Ensure full traceability and transparency from farm to shelf.

  • Keep accurate records of all inputs, harvests, and shipments.
  • Do not falsify data or conceal problems during internal or external audits.
  • Cooperate fully with food safety and compliance checks.

Zero Tolerance for Corruption (SDG 16)

Policy Goal: Operate ethically and lawfully at all times.

  • Never offer, give, or accept bribes, gifts, or kickbacks for personal gain.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest as soon as they arise.
  • Report misconduct or unethical behavior through the appropriate channels.

Innovation for Impact (SDG 7, 9, 17

Policy Goal: Adopt climate-smart technologies and practices.

  • Use energy-efficient tools, solar solutions, or low-carbon technologies where available.
  • Support the introduction of data-based monitoring tools (e.g. moisture sensors).
  • Encourage collaboration with partners to develop new sustainability solutions.
